About the Texture Junky
Hi I'm Silvia and I've always been fascinated by collage and art that mixes a number of different elements. When I finally started to learn how to use PhotoShop, I found that I could play with and mix different elements digitally. No glue, no scissors, no little scraps on the floor. This is not to say that I don't still occasionally cut up real paper and glue but I do it less.
I want to thank Linda W. who was my teacher and I think it was she who used the term after she saw me use textures in one of my class assignments. Thanks, Linda for encouraging me to continue playing and exploring and creating fun artsy projects.
I hope whoever visits my blog will enjoy what I've created and be inspired too!
One of the things I enjoy doing is encouraging others to be creative. I believe that we are all artists, just the way we express our creativity differs.
Recently I got my 80-years young father to play with my digital camera.
He took this photo of me. So now you can see what 'Texture Junky' looks like!
